Cornerstone University is seeking a full time, tenure-track, 9-month teaching faculty for our math program. We are a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI.

Desired start date: August 16, 2024

Candidates should be able to teach upper-level (300 and 400-level) mathematics courses including differential equations, multivariate calculus, linear algebra, mathematical proofs, real analysis, modern algebra, as well as supervising senior research projects of students in the mathematics programs. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate's specialization area, academic advising, student recruitment, course and program assessment, and other departmental duties as assigned.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

A successful candidate will possess a master’s or doctorate in Math or related disciplines. Or if you have a BS, several years of work-related experience, and a desire to pursue your Master’s, please apply for further discussion.

Physical requirements include the ability to teach 12 credits/semester of classes and labs on campus, use computers, operate lab equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Candidates will be asked if they are authorized to work in the US.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000/year for a 9-month teaching contract, and commensurate with education and experience. A full benefit package including health plans, disability coverage, and retirement is included.
