Cornerstone University, a theologically conservative university in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for an affiliate faculty position in Audio & Music Production to begin Fall 2024. An affiliate faculty position is a part-time, salaried, 9-month role working up to 18 hours/week.

Candidates should be able to teach basic to advanced theory and practice in audio and music production, including the areas of audio engineering, music producing, live sound, audio-video technical production, film & video post-production and audio production for digital media. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, committee work, and other departmental duties as assigned.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a relevant degree, industry experience, knowledge of industry standards and current trends in audio and music production technology and practices and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.

A Masters in Fine Arts (M.F.A.) or Ph.D. is preferred.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
