This part-time teaching role complements the full and part-time nurse educators at Cornerstone University with a focus on lectures delivered in the classroom. Candidates should be able to develop and implement curricula in order to prepare students adequately for the challenges presented within all aspects of the nursing field. Duties may include traditional classroom teaching, lab instruction, and/or clinical instruction; revise, review and/or develop curriculum as needed; and collecting and submitting required assessment of student learning data.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will possess at least a master’s degree in nursing (MSN) with preference for a PhD in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Nursing education experience and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching are preferred.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Cornerstone‘s nursing program provides a Christ-focused education that is dedicated to smaller class sizes and one on one training of students. Our faculty enjoy working together to mentor and teach eager students our specific subject matter with a Christian Worldview.
• Physical requirements include the ability to teach up to 9 credits/semester of classes and labs on campus, use computers, operate lab equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Candidates will be asked if they are authorized to work in the US.
