SUMMARY

This person is responsible to host and produce an on-air shift at WCSG. They will also fill in for other shifts as needed, approximately 6-8 hours per week. The core of Cornerstone University is defined and driven by its Christ-centered mission and Biblical confession.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Host/product WCSG on-air shifts.
  • Fill in for other on-air shifts when called upon.
  • Regular prep and follow up through air checks for on-air shift.
  • Develop a consistent quality and quantity of listener interaction via phone, mail, email, Facebook/other social medial as it pertains to on-air shift.
  • Enhance listening rapport/relationships through station-associated events and on-site broadcast appearances.
  • Mon-Sun tracked.
  • Serve as a representative of WCSG and Cornerstone University at various events and activities.
  • All Cornerstone University employees will regularly interact with students in a variety of projects, activities, and settings. As such all employees are expected to serve as Christian leaders and mentors by effectively living a gospel-centered lifestyle, ministering and discipling through a biblical worldview.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • People-orientated
  • On-air experience minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail and project oriented
  • Highest standard of personal and professional integrity

  • Ministry/service orientation
  • Organizational skills and self-motivated
  • Clean driving record
