Psychology Faculty, Full-time, Grad/UG split
Faculty Position: Assistant Professor Clinical Mental Health Counseling Full-time, Graduate/Undergraduate split Faculty Cornerstone University is seeking a full time, tenure-track, Graduate/Undergraduate split faculty for our MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA CMHC) program and Undergraduate Psychology (UP) program. This position is online (MA CMHC) and on campus (UP) in Grand Rapids, MI, so the candidate must reside within driving distance of our campus. We are a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI. The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling and mentoring, scholarship, and involvement in and service to Cornerstone and the general community.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching. Cornerstone’s Psychology programs provide a Christ-focused education that is dedicated to smaller class sizes and one on one training of students. Our faculty enjoy working together to mentor and teach our eager students our specific subject matter with a Christian Worldview. Physical requirements include the ability to teach multiple classes/semester for Fall/Spring (mid-August to mid-May) and use computers, navigate our campus for events, operate lab equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
