SUMMARY

The Director of Enrollment Operations provides leadership for the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of enrollment operations, the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and enrollment technology in support of Cornerstone University's enrollment goals. Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Strategy & Admissions, this position leads the Enrollment Operations team and is responsible for maintaining data integrity, optimizing operational processes, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring the effective delivery of enrollment services across all enrollment populations.

Working collaboratively with Enrollment Management, Student Financial Services, Technology Support, and third-party partners, the Director develops efficient, scalable processes that support data-informed decision-making, enhance operational effectiveness, and improve the enrollment experience. This position champions the innovative and responsible use of technology, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen enrollment operations and support the university's Christ-centered mission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Enrollment Operations team by fostering a Christ-centered culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the functional administrator and operational leader for the university's customer relationship management (CRM) system (Slate) and enrollment technology platforms supporting all enrollment populations.
  • Oversee the administration, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of enrollment systems, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and governance of enrollment data while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and applicable privacy regulations.
  • Lead the implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization of CRM enhancements, third-party integrations, automation, and emerging technologies that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Champion the innovative and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and technology solutions to streamline enrollment operations and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee system configuration, user permissions, forms, imports, exports, workflow automation, rules, populations, reports, dashboards, and other CRM functionality supporting enrollment operations.
  • Develop operational reports, dashboards, and data analyses that provide actionable insights for Enrollment Management leadership and support institutional reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Technology Support, Academic Advising, Athletics, Partner Development, Student Financial Services, and third-party vendors to maintain system functionality, resolve operational issues, and implement technology solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and best practices to ensure effective and consistent use of enrollment systems across Enrollment Management.
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Enrollment Operations staff while promoting professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Represent Cornerstone University in a Christ-centered and professional manner while supporting the mission and values of the institution.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in enrollment operations, enrollment management, higher education administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience administering, configuring, and optimizing Slate CRM, including workflow automation, forms, communications, reporting, system configuration, and integrations.
  • Experience leading operational initiatives, business process improvement, and technology implementation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, manage multiple priorities, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing professional staff.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and training skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to innovation through the effective use of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies to improve enrollment operations.
  • Commitment to Christian higher education and advancing Cornerstone University's Christ-centered mission.
